I took vids today of Doug driving the P-Body and we
had some problems... the car wanted to hop... well
I was so busy videoing I didnt see the problem... I
was running my mech throttle stop so he had about 1/3
carb opening which takes out a ton of torque.... and
had a 3800 launch... again no torque... well I didnt
have a cable to look at the vids on the TV in the trailer...
I tried one time to see them on the little screen on
the camera... that was a joke... well when I got home
I put them up on the computer and in one moment I
could see that the wheelie bars hit and start the
hop... all I needed to do was raise them up... I;m
so use to launching at full throttle where it has
some torque it plants the tire and comes up on the
bars.... I guess I better use my other camera that
can plug into the TV.... damn I can be so stupid at
times.... DOH

WOW! Stupid wheelie bars! Mike...just one of those things! Sometimes the obvious stuff tends to be over-looked! Simple mistake that won't happen again! Thankfully,it was just a T&T day! WOW! what a relief,,,,and I thought I was the only one who did silly crap.

Hey man, that's just being distracted. Stupid is when you stage your car with the rear wheels, or back it off the trailer with only 1 ramp down, or forget to air the tires down....I became a charter member of the D'OH club on those occasions.

Well today I got my other camera and made sure I have
the cable to go to the TV... plus I grabbed a cable
to go to the laptop.... I should be ready now.... no
more trying to see the tiny screen on the camera

Plus all day I've been working on the trailer which
had a few things wrong.... put the new starter on the
generator(works great)... had to find a draw in my
main 12 volt supply in the trailer... was buggin
me cause I could see it on the trucks volt meter...
then I fired up the gen from the remote in the trailer
BUT it wouldnt shut it down so I had to fix a couple
of broken wires at the gen... I think its finally
ready.... oh ya... the A/C works great
