piston rings - dot to the top? #739134

Putting together a short block for a friend. He gave me the piston rings for it (Sealed Power) with no instructions.

Which way does the dot go? Up or down? Pretty sure it's up, but I want to be absolutely certain.

tops rings make sure bevel down dont care were dot is

instructions say dot to the top, just put mine in. I used the sealed power moly rings.

thats not correct. top ring the bevel goes up, 2nd ring the bevel goes down.
