727 transmission slipping in reverse question #73887

My 727 trans is slipping in reverse. Forward gears are all fine. Is there an adjustment I can make under the pan or do I need to remove it and dig deeper into it....Thanx Guys!

check rear band and rear servo....

Where is the rear band and servo? Are they accesible under the pan?

The rear band apply servo should hold with just a quick hit of air if you have a rubber tipped blow gun and hold it tightly to the case. Mine would apply but not hold the pressure and leak down. burned up the band in the process. I wsih you better luck
