Ok this is a slightly unusual twist to the usual question, 'who has the best weatherstrips'.....

SOme years ago (around 5 I think) I bought a set of cat's whiskers for my '69 Charger - I was told on this board that this place was the best- and sure enough it was.

Fast forward 2 years when I started to put them on- I installed some of the sets but not the complete set as I was still doing interior work....

Fast forward again to the present day when I finally finished this work and I'm now ready to put the rest of them in..... come to find that I'm now missing a few pieces

So I need to ask this question again but stipulate that yes, I did search the board to try to find some names- RPM and Topcat came up in the search. However I'm pretty sure I didn't deal with these guys when I bought my original set, and I'm trying to find out who I bought them from so I can make sure the missing pieces I get will match the pieces I already have. Can anyone else remember who else sells cats whiskers other than those other two places?

Thanks!
David

IIRC they carry the Top Cat brand which is very good

The best re-pro's are made in canton Ohio .The shop is First Place Auto. He is a cool old boy and may help you with the missing parts. He is listed in the mopar collector's guide mag.

Well I had turned the garage upside-down again this weekend and I managed to find a cardboard tube that had my missing felts (duhhhh... )

Now I had already installed on the doors the outer felts- so I'm missing the inner felts. What I didn't expect is that the inner felts I found have a chrome strip running along their top while the outer ones don't. Is this correct? I would think so as the inner felts that go on the back seat upper pads do have chrome on them. Otherwise it looks like these inner felts will fit just fine, I just don't remember them having chrome strips. But then again I had removed the old ones over 4 years ago so I don't remember for sure.

Yes, just replaced my door pads. The inners have the chrome strip. The outers don't because Chargers have a belt molding on the outside that runs from the 1/4 glass to the vent window. So what would be the point?
