I haven't been able to find the archived post concerning the hump placement.Found late B and E body.Need it for 62-65 B-body.Thanks!

I removed the plastic plug and welded the tang right over the hole. Before I welded in the hump I traced all around it with a piece of white chalk. Then I removed the hump and cut 1/2" inside of the white line all around. It makes quite a big hole in your floor but your going to need all that room under the car for your shifter box, linkage, and the trans itself. I put an 18 spline hemi 4 speed in my 64. I also seam sealed both the inside and outside after welding the hump. I then painted both sides.
