Let`s ask on here........Mike`s looking to install 3/8`s lash caps on his motor and mine measure .130 deep and he only has .115 or so valve stem before the keeper so, doesn`t comp or someone make shallow lash caps to fit stock valve trains? I could of swore I had some that were .090-.100 deep...........thankxxx

Comp 622's are .080 thick and Crower 86122S's are .060

I`m not refering to the top thickness but to the "depth" or inner dimension before it hits the locks.......

My bad...I believe the only "short caps" are for 5/16 valves, as far as Comp's go.

Thanxxx I didn`t see what I needed but I noticed the manley pieces show a minimum tip size of .220 so I assume that`s what I was refering to.....

I had to grind mine down when I got the motor back, they were hitting the keepers and we couldnt get a good ajustment of the rockers, they would always come loose...Ground them down and all is well....Phill

I thaught about that but you had better make damn sure each one is perfect and there is no contact or it gets ugly fast. I`d see if they make a different lock w/a deeper recess and go from there if it was me.
