have any of you ran this cam-i have this cam in my 440 70 Challenger-probably 10 to 1 compression, stock intake, factoty exhaust manifolds, holley 850-i know that this is not the best cam choice. My car is a 4 sped car. How radical is this cam at idle-and how did i run overall. thanks
Put a big block 4 speed Scat Pack Dodge in your garage.

I ran on for years with ported 906 2.14 1.81 valves works good works way better advanced to 102 to 104. Needs all the timing in bye 1500. For you probably a poor choice go with the .509 in at 102. makes a good 4 speed cam.

I think that cam is a comeplete waste. Its way too big, by the time it starts out pulling a 509 cammed engine the RPMs are too high for hydraulic lifters anyway, unless you have a stroker.
With a stock intake and manifolds I think you're going to be very dissapointed. The idle will be very rough.
Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat Hear my motor screamin while I'm tearin up the street
