MegaDart OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,314 The Swamp	took the "cheapskate" ie, my boat out to Boca Grande today for its maiden voyage. Too dang hot to race! Boat runs great but has issues in reverse. We tried making adjustments but to no avail. Got real hot while we worked on it this morning so we decided to remove both thermostats. I was 75% complete and my buddy went to install the plug back over the second one and snapped it off #$%^&*. Fortunately we are good friends with the marina manager who has tons of junk salvaged on his yard and we found a spare!! We netted tons of bait then went back to our favorite bridge and hooked up to this 60# Goliath grouper! It is just a baby! They go 400# plus. Unfortunately they are still a protected species so we released him. Could feed a small city with a large one!! All in all a good day!

Oh ya, that is actually what we were fishing for. Saw at least a dozen 5-6' rolling and feeding in the pass. I did try to get a pic with the fish but he jumped about 2' off the boat floor trying to slap me in the face so I threw him overboard!! Big shark tournament tonite 3pm to 8am tomorrow morning. We will probably enter in next year God willing!
