what factory mounts work in a /6 k frame, and do I have to change the center link out or will it clear the v8 oil pan?

Is it the truck mount on the pass. side and A body v8 mount on the drivers? and with what rubber mounts?

I can see where you are going with this. There is some little known trick to make a Slant sick K member accomodate a V8. My friends 64 Valiant V8 mounts look like 2 truck style mounts.
The 67-72 Slant K members had a tall pedestal mount on the drivers side and a low pedestal mount on the right. In theory you could use a standard mount on the drivers side and some sort of raised steel bracket similar to a truck unit to bridge the gap on the right. Someone on this forum should have this info. If you get no responses, you may have to experiment for yourself. Also....beware of the biscuit mounts made in INDIA. There have been several episodes of short life span and early failures.
If time is an issue, the Schumaker mounts ARE high quality. I have their replacement mounts in the Charger and my 360 Duster. I like to fabricate though, and I enjoy finding creative ways to make things fit.
If you have the chance, I'd swap the steering gear for the 73-76 A body setup. One size fits all and you can remove the center link much easier.

yes,you use the stock v-8 mount/bracket on the driver side( kind that uses the square rubber mount..not a spool)

and any late 70s-mid 80s pass side truck mount

will bolt it right into the /6 k frame in the correct stock location in the engine bay

yes, its a little known racer trick from back in the early days

IIRC you need a 72 or earlier engine bracket that bolts to the block

some one has a pic that get posted every now and then

if i ever see it again I am gonna save that little gem of a pic

and then there are the conversion mounts or change the k-frame

if you change k frame,I suggest a spool mount 73 up myself

watch out for 67 v8 k frames and the funky idler arm also
