Valiants are

The owner of the black one is registered here with name mafo. It's a naturally aspirated small block car running in our street class. Pretty potential engine, but some gremlins in the drivetrain prevents it from running due to its power potential. 9.51/148.5 mph last weekend.

The other one is a tube chassis Valiant running in our Outlaw class, just got it ready and running on last thursday. The engine currently is a KB-blocked naturally aspirated 588 wedge with B1 original heads. It has still got a long way to go, a completely new build up, but run high 8's at 150+ mph last weekend. When the tune up naturally aspirated is ok, plate nitrous will be added and the potential to high 7's should be realtively easily attainable.

We had all kind of problems with our turbo-c, mainly cam/crank signal errors with the EFI that we couldn't fix and traction problems, I think that the 3 year old tires are just worn out now. We run five runs during the weekend in the street class, the first one with no traction and engine shutting off several times, second one a decent run with small boost and soft launch, 8.41/168 mph, and in the third one the trans input shaft broke. Got a new one and fixed it during the night, in the first eliminator run the engine shut off again for a while, but woke up and run in to a holeshot win with a 9.11/168 against the neighbours 9.09/144.
