I've read in several different sources that when Dodge introduced the Deputy that it also a "brighter" white vinyl top for them.

I also thought the whit vinyl tops were about as white as you could get to start with.

Anyone know if this is true? I do not believe it myself, but don't know for sure.

Anyone have evidence or proof.

News to me.

I am still hoping to fill out a set of the 1970 Dodge product information bulletins though, any odd changes / additional items were usually listed in them.

I only have #2, there must be others out there.......

Doubt it due to economy of scale; I don't recall them being any whiter than non-Deputy cars, but in differnet years a white vinyl top was either white or pearl white, which would appear slightly less bright, kind of a tannish cast to it.
