Anyone have success (or trouble) running a solid flat tappet cam in a tubed block (oil blocked to lifter bores)? There would be a little less oil splashing on the cam.

Passed up a nice 340 block because it was tubed and I didnt want to run a roller on that one.

Solid cam, bushed lifter bores... 600 passes, no problems.
