Pretty limited audience for this question, but I'll ask anyway. Has anyone done or seen a Cuda with a Shaker Hood and bubble on a 6.1 hemi using the stock 6.1 intake manifold?
Curious if there was a routing for ducting that looked good and functioned. I really don't know how much room is left above the engine on a 6.1 setup, but I'm guessing it wouldn't fit .
Thanks Darren

So let me get this 100% straight. You're using the 70-71 bubble. The Danko base, and making them work together? That's what I was after.

They never showed the engine and wouldn't give any specs on it except for "Horsepower: A Lot" but I saw there audition video and it is fuel injected and makes 475 Horsepower.

cut in half, horizontally? As in: made 2" higher with the section? I can handle the F/G or C/F insert no troubles..... Quote:
yes I believe it can be done. But there is going to be some fibergass work on the danko base plate. From what I understand that the baseplate will need to be cut in half and a 2" section made of fiberglass put in. The mounting holes will be off so they will need to be relocated. Also the hieght will need to be adjusted.

While that's an awesome car, I'm pretty sure they used the XV intake, not the factory one. That opens up pretty much stock setups.
could be, the hood was down when I saw it the parking lot
