Fellas -

Pump gas 426 hemi, freshly rebuilt. Pulled valve covers to find some rockers have backed off significantly (more than .025) so I need to adjust the valves. Valves that were still tight are at .016; engine is cold.

It's a solid roller, but no clue on the specs or even manufacturer. Engine has Mopar aluminum heads, Norris shaft rockers, looks like Comp mechanical roller lifters, 2,800 stall and 4.10 Dana, so shouldn't be too radical.

So, should I keep the lash (cold) at .016 or open it up to .020?

Thanks,

Scott

I'm guessing the hot specs for this cam would be about .020. Since I have aluminum heads and an iron block, to get a proper cold lash setting, I'm going with .014 (info on Crane's website).

Thanks,

Scott
