Thats OK Fred. The only reason I knew that story is because Ed told it to me years ago at the Bristol show.
I had found some of his pics in Dad's old Hot Rod magazines and I had him sign them. I looked and looked for one of those mags with Grumpy on the cover just to have Ed sign the front of it but never found one! LOL
Tell Ed Tom Drake says hi next time you talk to him!

I would have never guessed he was that old! I got down to the last 6 cars on Sunday and he beat Bill Ritz from NC in his '69 Dart in the finals. Congrats to Ritz also, he won Modified on Sat. and got a r/u to Ed Henrick on Sunday.
Ed Miller, this guy is awsome at bracket racing and won't give up with Howdy by his side (since 1971)! I remember last year at a race he nailed me with a .004 light to kick my butt! Great guy and still sharp as a knife!
