I bought a 440 source adj tim chain 4-5 years ago.
With all the nitemare posts , wondering if i should chance using it..

Any one had success with these for over 5-10,000 miles ?

It's a timing chain. Not a big deal. Use it or not choice is your's.

just wanted to make sure it wasnt gonna stretch in 10 miles , etc .etc.

But a timing chain is not JUST a timing chain ..

440 source sells stuff they know are going to go into performance oriented motors. The one they sell is likely just about as good as any chain on the market.

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Could be an aussie sourced chain which would be a better piece ...

Can't believe I put something from my favorite purveyor of CCJ in a positive light .

I bought a progear setup for my 360. Looks like a nice unit and I haven't heard anything bad about them.
