fat mans sway bars are made by compitition engineering if i rememebr correctly,, comp could care less about mopars,,,, fat man has a page with drawlings and deminsions on sway bars,,, i used it when fitting a rear bar to my 40 dodge,,,ended up using one from a late 30s chevy,,that pictured late 40s ford rear shock set up that was exactly the same as my 40 dodge rear shock set up,,the bar fat man wanted me to use was a universal and wouldnt clear my already finished exhaust..

I used one off the rear of a late 90s Ford Explorer, I used the axle mounting brackets from a Bronco 2, Ranger PU brackets work too, The 1953 Hudson I put it on is pretty narrow in the rear, you might check and see if the Explorer one is close- pic attached

they have several to choose from,,a lot depends on the lay out under your car,shocks/exhaust/frame or axel width/
i used one designed for a 37 chevy on my 40 dodge, its the same bar fat man uses on 46 47 48 fords, the bar i used mounts under the axel and the links go to a stud i had made that doubles as the upper shock mount and upper sway bar link mount,, the sway bar wraps around the lower shock mounting and ends up as wide as the inside deminsion of my frame rails,,shaped like a U with a hook on each end,, car is in storage so no pics ,,hope to have it back in my garage end of sept,,,
