The work at BGR really paid off well, Once I sorted out the torque converter woes I was able to lay down a 9.536 at nearly 138 on an early pass at National trails raceway. This beats my previous best of 9.538, but done at a much quicker track. My car always runs a tenth slower at trails than anywhere else. The chassis work is absolutely perfect, never made an adjustment all weekend and the car probably did not move out of the groove more than 6 inches side to side anywhere down the track. It is nice to have confidence back that the car is not gonna launch to the wall. Thanks again Bob for all you have done for me. Driver needs to dust off the cobwebs to start going rounds, but on a side note driving my 09 Hemi ram in sportsman I went to round 4 posting rt's of .055, .056,.031, .021, and then lost in rnd 4 with worst light of weekend .074. Trying to judge rollout with 20" tires and fly by wire is pretty difficult. Thought I did okay for 1st time running it. Best ET was 15.32

Good to hear car was working well. Get used to it and you will be going rounds again soon.

I better see some .30's out of that fancy new engine though.

I didn't take the car out. Forecasters called for 4-5" of rain this weekend....we probably got .2" max in a 50 mile radius. I'm not listening to them again.....ever.

Lonnie good to see the car working for you. Also nice to see you and your dad again. Look forward to see you at the PRP. Maybe at the end of the Month for the Memorial day bash. One nice thing too is they are doing a TNT on Thursday night with a gamblers race before the Bash weekend starts.

Also good job in the truck, just proves a good driver can put up round wins in anything they drive.

Lonnie, once you get the combo dialed in I think we are all going to be in for a surprise. The converter change and electrical work paid off.All in all, very impressed for first full race weekend on less than great track conditions.Curt,Donny and Chaz did a great job on your and Darryals cars.Chaz and I can't wait to plan a "bigger" small block for the Dart.
