Should there be in N out play on the pulley/Shaft?
Just had the unit rebuilt for this same reason of the play on the pulley and shaft, it feels tighter BUT still has the in N out play on it.
Now I have an extra PS pump, 1972 vintage and there is no play at all, also checked the one in my 88 Ram again no play. Just wondering if its something with the earlier years OR do I need to return the unit with a..."nice" phone call about the play in the unit.
