buddy has this big block mopar he said he thought it was a 440 that it had the pad out front but......it has a 2bbl intake on it

2468130 = 383.

one tip off on buying a 440....I don't beleive that I've seen any with a 2V carb. Unless someone slapped one off a 413/426, which I also think were all 4v motors.

Are you sure you didn't read it as 246...when it should read 256??

Also, where is the ID pad stamped? Front of the intake or next to the distibutor.

iv never seen this motor a buddy at work has it im just going by what he told me has a big pad in front with a 5 stamped in it said it had a 2bbl and looked to never been apart it was his brothers who died mot was just in his brothers shop his brother also had a 68-69 road runner so he didnt know if bought this motor to build and put down in the r.r. (as they never came with 2 bbls)
i thought the month and year was in that set of#,s??

The 2bbl intake from a 383 raised block fits
413-426-440

And a 2V intake off a 59-60 RB 383, when put on a 440, can cause lots of experts to scratch their heads, too.

it maybe a 383 rb from the 50s, my friend has one and it is wierd.

A raised block 2bbl. intake manifold will have a casting number of:

361 came with a 2 bbl
