I have a Fast XFI system and so does moparts member Stig Jr. Mine is just in the build setup StigJr has used for a couple years and he may chime in.
There is a member here who supplies EFIman I believe
Big STuff and Mega Squirt are popular. Modec is supposed to be REALLY good but $$$

I run the classic fast system, it's pretty easy to use, but it's not officially supported anymore. FAST is still very nice on the phone when I have questions, and if they have parts for your particular need, they will still service it. I bought mine in 2003 and they were close to end of life then, I wouldn't suggest buying one now unless you get a great deal on it. To be clear, 'classic' is not XFI, it's what they sold before XFI.

Fast is the system. IMO there are many systems out there but the MOST important asset is the tech support. Fast xfi or even Fast man have excellent tech support. You can have the best system in the world but if it's unusable it's useless.

The inventor, designer, and guru is Rich Nedbal and he is a member here. But I don't think he checks in often. He goes by Mopar_Rich.
Great guy by the way. His cell number is on his web site.

Correct. Although I used to design EFI systems - that was a long time ago. Now I just ship the stuff, do the tech support and occasionally build something weird. For example I'm now working with an airplane engine designer on a V-12 all aluminum turbocharged race engine for airplane racing. Very cool technology at a conservative 2000 HP.
Anyway, the original FAST system was designed by John Meaney who founded Big Stuff 3. But since then, FAST has used their own engineering to develop the XFI and EZ systems.

The Megasquirt3, if you are the engineering type, can be a dream EMS, capable of doing almost anything you can think of building into an EMS. If you are not the engineering type and can't wait for internet forum support (no call in support available) consider staying away from the Megasquirt or buy a completed unit from DIYAutotune.com.
I agree with you there fully. I bought a MS-2 kit a couple years ago, way before MS-3 was around and if I had to do it all over again today, I would pony up the extra $ and buy an assembled MS-3 from diyautotune.com. I got my unassembled MS-2 kit from them and still haven't finished assembling it. Soldering it together is a long, tedious process. I'm fully capable of doing it, I just don't want to. Of course if I price it out now, the cost of my MS-2 unassembled kit $250 + MS-3 daughter board upgrade + $100 cash = the new cost of the fully assembled MS-3's that diyautotune sells. It is nice because the extra code versions have so many features you can adapt to so many applications, but I would not buy an unassembled one again!

Classic FAST on mine. Love it. Its been on my hemi engine thru many iterations and once set-up, is just awesome....The conversion to the intake was done by BDS, Craig Railsback, and the system was ordered thru him...Back then, very few people offered efi, and even fewer knew how to tune it. Now a days, there a lot of people with a lot more knowledge than me about it, although I learned a lot over the years. I bought mine with bigger injectors, fuel pump, etc. because I knew I would upgrade the power level over the years.
