Okay im rebuilding an 89 360 roller la style motor to go in my 1985 ramcharger. im running a 60711 lunati cam new heads from Aero head racing with the cast #4027596-A on them. An eddy performer intake with 600 cfm eddy carb. A 727 freshly rebuilt trans w/ high stall stock TC will be sitting behind the 360. Tire size is 235 75r15. The rear end im told is 294. ( a 3.55 will be put in the future) This is my first mopar and first full engine rebuild. Crank and pistons are only things not replaced. Which filter and oil additive should i use in the new motor. And which way do i turn the oil pump in order to prime the motor. Im really sorry its such a long post but if i screw this motor up ill be divorced LOL

IIRC clock wize on the oil primer

wix filter and some eso additive or the like

I would get a better intake with that cam

IMHO an LD340 or a airgap rpm from eddy

the plane jane performer is gonna hold it back

I had one on mine with the lunati 60710 roller cam and when I put the LD on ...night and day differance

wont be going with a performer ever again

OH! and a roller cam and roller lifters do not need a break in like a flat tappet cam either

so some good oil is all thats needed
