Lots and lots of cool Landy pix! Are those little white sneakers a California thing from 1965? you see Ronnie Sox wearing those too along with the white levis. Big cigar chompin' Landy looks kinda out of place in'em, tho..lol

I gotta think the Holley decal on the cowl is kind of a gag. I gotta look back at the photo dates and research when the carbs were swapped for the injectors, or if the car was built with the injectors. I'm under the impression that the 10 cars all came carbureted and the injection was done soon after, though there are pics of the mule car injected.

All of the 65 Dodge & Plymouth A/FX cars were built with carburetors & cross-rams intakes originally, the racers switched to injectors soon after. And there were 12 A/FX hardtops built in total including the white mule car, 6 Dodges & 6 Plymouths were built in the first batch, and no AWB sedans were built till later.

I'm friends with the current owner of the Landy car. He was very happy to see these photos after I sent him the link. He said it will help with a couple of things they are currently doing to the car. It is being freshened up as we speak.

Cool tell him to post some recent pic's of it. I knew of Landy's 65 A/FX Dodge before Mike Guffey bought it and restored the car in the early 90's, but I guess everyone knew about it once it hit all the magazines some 20 plus years ago!

Pretty neat to see it being towed with a station wagon (complete with Cragar S/S's) and a SINGLE axle trailer!
