that reset button box is not the control unit, is ust a RESET device allowing to crank in case of fail. Control unit box locates at a side of glove box down the dash frame
depending on the year some cars didn't got the driver seat sensor because system sets by default IT MUST BE SOMEBODY SAT on the car when cranking and gearing, so then belt sensor still will need to sense is being fastened.
the EASIER WAY and the way will keep the warning signals working ( if wished ) will be simply jump both yellow wires at reset button.
also get a 75 green control box or an orange canadian box to replace the blue ( auto ) or white ( manual ) control boxes. Those boxes are not interlocked
you can turn around also both yellow wires at engine harness plug and will crank without pay attention to the control box
just giving several options more.
here is how it basically works the system

Someone mentioned jumping the two yellow wires on the interlock box. You can also go directly from the ignition switch to the starter relay, which is the fancy way of bypassing the interlock. Sounds complicated, but it was as simple as moving a couple pins around in the bulkhead connector.
According to my notes, on a '74 Barracuda, pin 19 on the bulkhead connector is post-interlock to the starter relay, and pin 20 is pre-interlock to the interlock starter switch. If I'm not mistaken (my notes are way too complicated) you should be able to just connect a yellow wire between the bulkhead connector (equivalent to pin 20 on an E-body, the pre-interlock ignition lead) and your starter relay.
When I did it, I was also mating up a '74 bulkhead to a '70 engine harness, so there were a whole bunch of little changes like this to make.
as I stated and made on diagram...
you can turn around thick yellow wires ( one of them traced ) at bulkhead OR turn around yellow wires on engine harness. That will feed the starter relay directly from ign switch instead from interlock. I wrote made the change on engine harness since is more comfortably to work on.
but even EASIER is jump the two yellow wires at RESET BUTTON ( not at interlock, what is a little bit harded to hook up ). That will make to work the system like ALLWAYS resetted.
