I can run the summit T-stat housing for a chevy on my small block eddy intake, correct?

yes as long as you don't use a thermostat. the chevy thermostat will fall through the hole in the intake.

Point is moot anyways...found a mopar correct unit:

as to the leaking part, I've never had bad luck with o-rings...they've actually worked better than the gasket and gasket/gobs of rtv I've used in the past.
