Please turn off the caps. Yelling is impolite. Yes that rear is plenty strong enough to deal with your set up.

It is known that typing in all caps in considered yelling on discussion boards. Not just automotive ones, but all discussion boards.

Not doing so is a courtesy, like courtesy staging.

The 8 3/4 would eventually go out in time but depends on weight and how hard you launch. A truck dana is an easy build and would last.

Geesh, 5 of you guys jumped on this guy for cap locks and never bothered to even help him with his question. His post is gone now probably from harassment. A mod will pm a member if something isnt right. Most people learn as they post or read. Being trained like a ruler accross the wrist seems like being a bully to me.

I can't remember how heavy his car was. I know at 4k lbs and a good 1.4 60 ft, over a period of time, it goes south.
