In the process of installing a saginaw power steering pump on a '72 R-runner and was wondering about the 2 bolt holes in the rear, all the cars I looked at have studs instead of just bolts to mount rear bracket. Can I just use regular bolts and do the need teflon to prevent leaks? Thanks for any advise!!!

Big Block, what I am asking is the bolts that run into the back of the pump, not the ones that go into the motor.

I've also only ever seen studs. Sorry. I guess bolts would work, but they won't allow you to take the rear bracket off without draining the pump, which is the original intent of using studs in the first place.
