Only in America you can buy a product that is well known for safety and we have to modify it to no end to make the product work, probably to he point that it no longer meets safety requirements.

Did anyone else hear if you alter the shield in any way....no SFI no liablity...no recertification?

Lotsa trimming the case and bolts still don't align. I actually sent mine back to CSR and they said they checked it and it was fine. One bolt hole was off by about 1/2 of a bolt when it came back. And trimming those hardened 12-point bolts wasted a couple sabersaw blades. Hammer the floor, grind the case, shorten the bolts, and force it together, that's all it takes.
