BOB, What are you going to do for an interior?
hope you do the fawn/gold look, for a real nostalgia super stock look.

Thanks guys...
Yep Chris, it will have the correct interior...eventually...
Right now Im just ready to go racing...I set out almost all last season but two races trying to save money for this thing. At this point...I have everything to get it together and go racing.. I have a Accusump system, all the electronics, trans is new with a brake. I have complete fuel system.
Im really just thinking about throwing a my Kirkey racing seat in it, add that fancy new Membrane ARC switch panel and go burn some rubber. Work on the little things as I go.
Hopefully by the first to middle of June it will be a fully functional car...
My help seems to be working at a awful slow pace...

Im hoping the car will run some respectable numbers too. 572 inch's 13.75:1 compression, 460 cfm on head flow, .750+ roller, 6K converter, 4.88 in the Dana. If this thing doesnt run deep 9's...I will burn it to the ground.

Thanks Dom...
Thats what I am after. I even have a old Accel Duel point dist with a tach drive, which will be hooked up to the 5 inch Old Moroso cable drive tach with tattle tail recall. Of coarse the dis is been gutted and I will run modern 7al ignition, and have a shift light etc...
I will get a pic of the inverted shock tower clearance with these KB valve covers..
I initially mocked the engine up with the Chrome stamped ones. But quickly figured out the would work with these aftermarket rockers, and big lift..
I had concern of valve cover removal..but it wont be a problem

That is a great looking ride. I know I have seen them someplace but would you mind posting a pic of the whole car?
The two tone is really cool!

The intake isnt the Hot setup for sure...Better than the original though...I heard it will make 900hp without too much trouble. I talked to Jeff about the intake, he said he could improve it a good bit.
On the flip side I have a single plan Indy, and a 1150 Dominator 9376 IIRC.
Id say that this setup would best the MP unit..Time will tell.
But reality its a bracket car, and those Hemi's dont look right with a single carb...

Sorry I dont have any good to date pic's of the car...
Its nasty as heck now, Its only been washed once last fall after paint.
I need to pull it out and put a good wax on it.

Heck the car hasnt even been wet sanded and buffed yet.
Im not sure if I am going to. It satisfactory now. The body on this car is gun barrel straight.
I figured after a few years I can then have it sanded and buffed and look good as new or even better.
