Has anyone here used the Ultra Bell to install a 518 behind a 440?

What I have in mind is using the Ultra Bell behind a mild built 440 in a 3/4 ton RamCharger 4x4 conversion.

I would like to know if this is a fairly straight forward and easy conversion to the transmission. I know I will need to get drivshafts re-made to finish.

But bolting to the engine, and OD control are my two need to know hows.

I am bolting a 904 to a BB with an ultrabell , not finished yet but I'm milling the trans case off all the way to the front pump. The UB bolts to the eng block normally and when you mill the oe trans case off back to the pump then use longer bolts (by the amt of the thickness of the UB) rearward thru the UB into the front pump. 904 TC for sure and probably 904 flexplate also (not quite there yet)

Converting the transmission to accept the bell isn't for the backyard shadetree mechanic....IIRC SMR has an engine adapter plate and spacer assy for the converter to adapt the 500/518 to the B/RB motor

i've done 5 different ones over the years, not hard at all. this one is for my ramp truck.

bell housing comes with directions where to cut, i gutted a pump/ re-mounted to empty trans case and turned it on a brake lathe

this is a bell on the Rampage (727) trans.
