I need a flat Coronet hood, NOT a Super Bee hood.

Dave,...the only source I know for a fiberglass FLAT 70 Coronet hood is at www.vfnfiberglass.com pin on flat 70 Coronet hood 13 lbs $299,...bolt-on hood fiberglass FLAT 70 Coronet hood, 22 lbs $399

USbodysource has a bolt on SuperBee (factory powerdome style) fiberglass hood should you seek that as an alternative

AWESOME.

IIRC, I checked VFN in the past and they didn't have that. Thanks so much for the tip.

Mr. Freiburger,

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed your July Hot Rod article with regard to reviving your 70 Super Bee. I look forward to see this project though.

I also appreciate how in recent times Hot Rod Magazine has become something for other car makes besides Chevy and Ford. I even liked seeing the writeup on the Pontiac build... keep up the good work!

DID they have it THIS TIME ? ..

I was once the 3rd largest WD for their line of product ....and they have had a mold for a 70 Coronet hood since the MIDDLE '70's !!

HOPE you finally talk to someone who KNOWS their-own product line ....

I ordered the VFN hood about five weeks ago. They said it would take 5 to 7 to get here. But, for one, I planned in advance.

Thanks for the comments on the Bee story. It's good to work on that junk again. Hemi goes back on the dyno next week.
