anyone know how much these hold ? anyone ever run one on the street ? it would have to be used on something that could use a "dragster" type pan, so that would rule out most everything except an engine swap of some sort.

I've got one here...could get it down and measure it if you wanted It is the kind with the swinging pickup and the pan is cast aluminum.

How would you measure how much it holds? You would not fill it completely full of course ?

OZZIE .....WHERE do you come up with this stuff ? .. that has to be for like a 40 foot cabin-cruiser ! ....and that PROBABLY holds 3 CASES of oil !!

I have a pan for my 18 foot hydro that is around 14 quarts. You NEED that kind of capacity since there is not good air-cooling-effect like on a open-air automotive application.

that's the pan oz. i got a complete engine[well, i should say my pal crowbait does], and thought that pan would be different to use on my 33 dodge humpback. i got more than enough clearance to use it. just wondered if there would be any problems in using it on the street. i can't swim, so i won't be near the water[i hope !]
