hey guys, Looking to purchase a new distributor and was wondering the best way to go. Are the mopar performance or proform ones that Mancini offers good? I've also seen some talk about the FBO dist's as well on here. They appear to be more custom tailored to the application?
It's going in a 340 w/ air-gap, 650 holley, j- heads, headers,& comp cam xe268. I plan on using a MSD 6a box w/ a MSD blaster coil.
I don't plan on racing it or anything, just street fun.
Any help and sugg. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well the FBO does tailor the advance springs to the cam so I'm told and takes the vacuum advance out of the equation and that is a good thing.
That cam is going to want much higher idle advance and faster curve so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What ever you get get an advance spring kit and plug the vacuum for the first few weeks till the car is running great how you want it.
