Hey fellas. I asked this quest earlier but no response so i thaught id ask again. I have a 440 with indy heads and hooker headers. I have a couple of plugs that are close to the header so i thaught i would try short plugs. Can i mix these with other plugs and be ok or should i use a whole set of shorty's? I only need 2 of them. Is there any performance differences between them and a standard length plug?

As long as heat range is the same as the others you should be fine , then again some cylinders would fair better with higher/lower heat range , some short plugs are the non projected type ,i would change them all out for the same type.
