SO I have been working on a new regulator mount for my cuda... so here is what I came up with.

The reg is free hanging from aluminium fuel lines...anyone see any problems with this on a street car.

Yes... fatigue of the alum line... hanging it in
space is fine but with a flexible line.... looks
good though

fire hazzard if you ask me. why don't you get the jegs reg mount and use flex lines. it does look good but an accident waiting to happen

I wanted to go with the jeg's reg mount, but it looks like my drop-base air cleaner will hit the reg. I think I will mount the reg on the inner fender for now.

Hmmm..I also ran aluminium lines front to back (upgrade to 3/8 from 5/16). The lines are securly fastened at several points... should I be concerned about that too?

solid lines to the front should be fine if they are secure. but run braided or the new black flex lines to the carb.

Thanks guys...

Do you think hanging the regulator by steel lines would work / be safe. I really do not want to use braided lines.
