Dr Diff's spacers on your spindles to use 73-76 A body (10.87") rotors/horsehoe adapters and 76 A body calipers (2.75" bore) are cheap (have larger bore than 73-75 A body calipers (2.6"). 11&3/4" adapters/calipers on the above setup gives much more braking but is more money and you use the same calipers and definitely get some aftermarket (ceramic?) pads. On the rear cheapest would be to send a pair of 1/2 truck or E body 8&3/4 axles in to Moser in Portland Indiana for shortening to A body specs which will give you BBP.

I swaped on a complete 73 duster k frame and all the front suspention to a 68 dart.../6 to sb v-8

I used a MP 4 bolt to 2 alum master cyl adaptor and used a new alum 2 bolt mc with an adjustable brake rod..manual brakes....can get the adjustable brake rod from master power brake for 30$

I used the 73 prop valve down on the frame

the stock 8 3/4 has the skinny 1 3/4 wide brakes...so...

you could have axles/drums redrilled

some large brake 4.5 wbp axles cut/resplined

get a set of A-body axle with the large brake off set and the 4.5 wbp from the doc or moser

I went with moser custom alloy axles with green bearings..no end play adjustment

which make the whole 8 3/4 a 1/2" wider...1/4" per side

on the dart I used a 7" wide rim with 4.5 back space with 245/60/15 on it

you have a more open wheel well and can go with a wider rim

with the large brakes you will use 4.5 back space on what ever size rim you want

I used this A-body 8 3/4 axle in my 85 truck also and went to 12" rim with the 4.5" back space

clearance at the tire bulge and spring stayed the same from the Dart to the truck

good luck

If the front brakes are discs yes but if drum no as they'll most likely be SBP drums. I believe the PS box/column will fit though the column wiring would be different but MAY be adaptable.

Didn't that move your wheels outward a bit?

might have slightly,I never checked it

just had it alined to 73 specs and put skinnys on the front 3.5x15-165/15 combo

the large brake axles moved the rear out 1/4 per side used 7x15 with 4.5 bs -245/60/15 combo on the back

filled the rear well up and looked good as the rear tire coverd the front tire tracks in the dirt

A-body have a narrow trac on the rear which is funny looking stock

got mine all squared up and handled good on the street

may just want to swap the power box and lower part of the colum to box...keep the 68 coulm in the dash

wired up diff for sure

mine was a manual steer before and after the swap

IMHO,I would find a whole 68 manual steer set up and use that...gonna be super tight with 440 and power steering box in there

headers are a PITA for sure for either SB-BB combos with power

still running the /6 t-bar up front?

I did on mine to get the weight tranzfer to the rear on launch

just wont like high speed turns though...

and at 125 mph...when you let off all the way at the end of the 1320 be ready for nose drop

it seemed mine would drop 2 feet on decel

good luck

killer looking 440 in the fish also

how about power brakes ? what would i need to make the master cylinder fit with the 440 ? or do you need power brakes to bring it back from 125 ?
