toplescuda OP I Whine T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 8,849 poplar bluff mo.	im taking the hemi apart to get the block hot tanked so i can start the rebuild(rings/bearings) the rods are alum. and i dont have a 12 point that size im asumming that the size is 1/2?? or is it stupid metric (13?) i sent the heads off today with the cam info to have new valve springs ,locks and new lash caps should have them back in few days 1970 barracuda convert. 1 of 59 1970 pro street A.A.R. clone (panther pink) 1971 charger 2015 hellcat challenger. Moparnut426 I Live Here Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 12,013 Finally a HUSKER again	I just assembled an engine with 1/2 inch head stud with 12 point, and I used a 12 point 9/16, and the rods are 3/8 bolts, and I used a 7/12 12 point. Kasey
