No, but some are marked left and right side.

which end goes first ? well, mostly of cases you make them fit allmost at the same time. At least I fit them with LCA already on K member

now some extra info.

no difference between rear and front... does't affect even being used.

think on a bolt and nut. No matter wich side you tight, nut or bolt head, allways will be on the same direction. Get it reversed, and will still tight the same direction.

the only important thing is keep the left on left and the right on right.

what is very common but not mandatory is keep the PN visible on rear

Makes it easy to ID what you have in there if you lose track but can go in either way. If your bars have a L and a R or an odd and an even # to dictate which side they go that is critical and on the ones that are not marked and are therefore not side specific either side is OK unless they are used in which case they need to be marked and returned to the same side as before.

They twist the same direction regardless of which end goes forward. Getting the left and right side bar in the correct spot is very important.
