Don't know who makes em for Yr1, but there's a guy who advertises in Hemmings & makes incredibly accurate T/A hoods & told me he does them like the factory did. Even lets em bow if that's what you want or he can reinforce the edges. I think he also said he does AAR hoods. If I find his # I'll PM you.
Here's the info: Seller Notes: AAR Cuda hoods, bolt-on, correct but stronger, $850; Challenger T/A hoods, $895; windshield washers, $85 pr. 610-458-8395, PA.

Just bought a year one hood.... nice piece . It's got a little reinforcement bar attached to the hood hinge area, so I don't know how correct it is...that didn't matter to me. I got 20% off (something under $600) but they absolutely nailed me on the shipping..... $700 shipping for the hood and a couple other parts to Canada
It's not Year One, it's the shippers/customs,....Canada is Crazy to ship to, I just shipped one of my repro daytona wings up to the Alberta area, $475 to ship, using my shipper.....just ridiculous

not sure if they do, i guess you checked?
According to their CURRENT listings ... they make absolutely NOTHING for a 1970-4 Barracuda ....
Now if you made say weatherstripping ...and the company name was say "Belvedere Weatherstripping" ....wouldn't YOU make at-least ONE PIECE of weatherstripping for a Plymouth Belvedere ?
OF COURSE you would.

Don't know if they are still in the business, but years back a company called ASC&P International had by far the BEST repop T/A hood I had the pleasure of STANDING on and it suffered ZERO damage. It was an outstanding piece, correctly molded underhood airbox, extended brace in the hinge area, etc. I had JUST bought a used T/A hood at E-town when 20 minutes later I stumbled on their booth, and had I seen their product, I would have taken it hands down over an OE piece, no question. They were in Eagle, Pa. at the time - 215-458-8395. Update, looks like they moved in Pa. - also from Hemmings, but still in business...$850, AAR hood http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/partsforsale/dodge/challenger/961716.html
