This past weekend, I finished hacking apart a 1942? WC54 that had been converted to a hunting buggy (ambulance body cut off, Ford pickup bed added, wheelbase shortened by 2 foot or so). I saved the firewall to fix the 41 truck that had been hacked and cut the dash out too.

I happened to look at the dash from the wrong direction (upside down) and thought that it had a really nice shape.

Has anyone here ever cut the top off of a 39-47 truck dash and welded it to the lower half of an existing dash? ...bottom edge would have a "pretty" curved shape that mirrors the upper shape.

not a dash but I know guys do it with hoods. last I saw was a 40s Internantional. guy took tow hood noses and made one pretty cool grill cover, looked kinda like a track tee roadster nose. Dashes would be the same deal to me. That' what rodding is
