I have two perfectly good 904 trannies
1969 Vs 1972, both out of a B body.
While having the motor out, is there an advantage/disadvantage for putting one tranny in my daily driver vs the other?
The car is a 69 coronet with stock 318 four barrel.
thanks!

I would go with the '72, there were a few changes that make the '72 more desireable than the '69.
The input shaft spline change was in '68.

The '71 and later V8 904's have a larger kickdown servo and PTK became available on the V8 in '71.
