I need a brake drum for my '67 Valiant with an 8 3/4" rear end and the small bolt pattern with 10" brakes. These aren't available new, are they? Where can I get a used one? Thanks...

NAPA? I haven't encountered a part yet for my old cars that my local NAPA didn't have in stock...

Yea, you can get new ones from Rock Auto and I
think Mitchell and texas acres also have them.

I have a few used 10" SBP drums. Let me know if you cant find new and I'll check on what I have but I'll need more dimensions to match them up.

I ordered from RockAuto just before Christmas. Wagner BD60123 rear 10" x 1 3/4" drum. Rock did not have them listed when searching for my car ('71 Dart GT) but they do list them by part #.

This is from the Tech Archive:

REAR DRUM Shoe Size
60-76 A body 329 9x2" BD60083
64.5-72 A body 331 10x1.75" BD60123

Thanks for the info, guys. I had searched all of the major auto parts stores and not one of them list the 10" rear drums as being available. Maybe if they would list them, they could sell them???

As I understand it even the flared rear drums are still available new in the aftermarket world if you know where to look.

I'll try to get a part number and a source from my buddy, he has a set on the self for me and I am almost positive they are after market.

Did you ever find out where we can get them? I would love to know.
