Does anyone know what a "front splash pan scoop" is? They are part of the package that came on a challenger western sport special. Thanks!

Does the car have the A63 - "moulding package" on it (was it part of WSS?)
I think some parts/crash books call the moulding on the front valence "SCOOP".

My car has both the A63 trim package as well as A91 WSS package.

A63 was included with A91.

Your front valance should have an insert in it.

Is it an LA car or one of the late ones from Hamtramck?

My car is a LA car. It was built in early Feb 1970. Do you know where the insert goes on the front valance?

Do you know where I can pick up the insert you're referring to?

In the big hole behind the front license late bracket.

I am not aware of a source for them but I have never looked either.

There is a two piece moulding that attaches to the lower front valence below the bumper.
part numbers 2998 228 & 2998 229

Are we all talking about the same part(s)?

From the 1970-71 crash parts book see item(s) 3;

Pretty sure the second set of numbers listed is for 1971, I will look for my 1970 only book......

So you think the the part are the mouldings that go on the front valence? That seems to be the consensus.
