I am close to pulling the trigger on a Innovate LM-2 wideband at Jegs for my N/A BB Dart.
Anyone here using one? Like it? Any problems? Tips on setting it up and using it? What about leaded race fuels and sensor damage?
I like the fact that you can store runs on a SD card and load them on a laptop later on to analyze.

I just purchased the F.A.S.T wideband w/rpm module from Rich @ www.fastmanefi.com . He gave me a good price! You might want to call him and see what he says. Lee.

Thanks for the replies fellas.
Lee, have you had a chance to use your Fast setup yet? If so how does it work and how do you like it?
The RPM issue with the LM2 is whats really scaring me away from it. Some peoples work fine, and some cant get it to work.

Just follow the instructions TO THE LETTER and you will likely be fine. If they tell you to ground something to the battery don't ground it to the dash. All grounds are not created equal.
Kevin
I agree 100%. I use electrical panel ground bars to land all my critcal stuff, then run a heavy (12ga.-10ga.) gauge to a good ground(battery, frame etc..) The biggest enemy with data loggers is noise IMO. Try to isolate the sensor cable(s) and power from all other wiring, especially the ignition! If you have to cross paths, do it at 90deg to prevent picking up noise. I used my LM-2 all last year to log O2, RPM, and Nitrous fuel pressure with good results.
