And while we're on the subject of quality Australian design and engineering......thought I'd hijacl Oz's post and show you my latest edition, twin upswept tailpipes as per the Oz R/T Charger type.

I'm wondering if a US Mopar ever had anything similar?

If he doesn't go for it, I'll trade you for a slightly used '66 Dodge Dart Wagon. After reading this post, I think Something is wrong with its 6 cylinder. Seems like it fell over.

On a serious note, I met a guy at Fall Finale in Madera, CA who had a purple and yellow '50 Plymouth Business Coupe that was turned into a stock car at some point. Ran an Aussie 6 in it, No kidding.

OBSB knows that this is his BIG opportunity!!

I had read somewhere that there were some folks running our sixes at the stock car tracks, better fuel economy and lighter weight might be the reason why........?????

Primerdust... I know just who you are talking about. I exchanged a bunch of emails and pics with him years ago. Seemed like a really cool guy..

Kev, anytime your six-pack needs a new home, let me know

(I am on the lookout as it is for a couple of good deals on chargers..)

Well Mal, first off, your new tips are way cool!

Secondly, I dunno about that car on ebay. It looks pretty decent and all but it looks like it may have been changed around here and there and also, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think Petty Blue was available that year. Not only that, I can't buy ANYTHING else until I move this Aussie Falcon!

Come on Mal... you'll end up with something one of these days.. maybe trade in on a EH (premier of course ) if you get tired of a Charger

Perhaps i should paint the SAAB Petty Blue.....

Not a bad price though....the porr guy sold it once and had to re-advertise....Ebay's great that way!!

Well, actually Petty Blue might look kinda nice on the ol' Saab!

No, you're right, that is a pretty good price that car is currently at. If it is a decent car, it will probably go up a ways yet before all is said and done...
