There's Twin City just south of Monroe which is about 50 mi. Don't know if it will be open this year. Runs 1/8 Super Pro, downside is pit area which is not the best.

There's also Thunder Road (AHRA Operated) which is approx 100 mi. Very nice track. New operator so everyone is waiting to see how it goes.

Alexandria is south of Jonesboro on I-49. I drive through there on the way to Florida. I don't know if there is a dragstrip in Alexandria, but there used to be an Air Force Base there. I drive past the track in Baton Rouge all the time and it looks to have good turnout. It's on 190 between Opelousas and BR.

Alexandria is south of Jonesboro about 70 mi. In the past 2 or 3 yrs I have raced at Twin City about once a monthy because they were having a little more payout than the other reginal tracks.

If you don't mind traveling State Capitol Raceway referred to as at Baton Rouge but is actually at Erwinville, LA on US190. Very nice track in fact they will be hosting the IHRA Mardi-Gras Nationals on 6-7 Mar. It's about 100 mi south of Alexandria.

Another track about equal distance from Jonesboro is Pine Valley at Lufkin, TX about 170 mi away. IHRA track which hosts IHRA Pro-Am events.
