Any sentimental value to this car? It's coming along nicely.

Here's the only sentimental things about this car, for me; When I was driving back and forth between Modesto and Fresno, while my mom was dying, I saw this car. I just so happens to have been sold new in Fresno, and that's also where my mom passed away at a house my brother and sis-in-law were renting. Also, based on a somewhat recent parking pass on the windshield, the previous owner worked at the hospital in Turlock where my step-dad eventually passed away when he was getting prepped for amputation surgery. Finally, I've spent my last bit of inheritance $$ on the work you see. So there's 3 things about this car that is significant to me, with some interesting coincidences, I think. And besides it looking neat to me, it's loaded with a lot of nice stuff like a 440 with power steering, brakes, A/C and cruise control. I will probably put off the engine, transmission and differential upgrades until next year, just to work out of some debt I've gone into for this thing. Still, I hope to do a little this year with it

Looking good!..not like restoring a Mustang or Camaro is it,,
What's a Mustang or a Camaro
I got lucky in that there wasn't a whole lot I needed to get replaced, but you're right, it's not the easiest thing to get parts for. All part of the fun, though.

Reading your threads I too was wondering what the attachment was. If you're happy, I'm happy for you. And the bumpers do look nice.
Thank you Mark and everyone else. I AM happy with it

That is one nice "sea" body! I drove a 68 Polara for 9 years. Nice bumpers! Are you going to the Madera show with it this summer?
