Problem: right front(pass. side) front running light works but turn signal does not!
Both rears work but kind of erratic, slow then fast and so on!

Could the turn sig. switch be bad somehow??

OR flasher issues???

bulb metal case to socket. Socket to body ground. If you have hazard flashers try it (the can) in place of the TS flasher can & see if you're good. EDIT you do have fire TO the large filament circuit in the dual bulb w the stalk "up" right?

Yes, you would not be the first to have bulb- housing ground trouble on 69 sat-belvedere body.

The hazards DO work at all 4 corners but that right side front just doesn't want to work in turn signal mode! Since the right front hazard works , which is the same filament for the T/S, what specifically could it be?

Progress!. go to www.mymopar.com & find what color wire we're looking for and take a circuit tester (the one w the alligator clip on a wire and the probe w a long thin point) and stick it into the wiring harness connector coming out of the steering column & w the 2 connector halves still together stick it into the "out" wire to the RF large filament circuit & see if you have fire w the key on/stalk up of course. This will tell you if the prob is downstream from there (towards the firewall bulkhead & out to the bulb or if its up in the TS assy under the steering wheel. Might just pull the black bulkhead connector on the firewall apart & clean it real quick & might get lucky & be done w it since the bulkheads are so trouble prone. EDIT if from the st col harness connector downstream the hazard "out" wire to the RF large filament and the right front TS wire "out" to the same filament is the same wire & I believe it is then the TS assy under the steering wheel is looking likely. Holler when you find it.

This retard(me) FORGOT to mention I replaced the forward light harness last night! The old original forward light harness was fine except for that front right turn signal issue!

I'll check out what you mentioned!! Thank you!

I had the same issue with my 69 bee,and traced it to the turn signal switch. I believe NAPA has a repair part fot that, so you don't have to replace the entire switch assy.

Nope, you can buy a cancel cam to replace the bad one at most any parts store. It's the piece with the wire wiskers on it that the lever moves. I've replaced a bunch of them.

AAH. Correct, forgot about that, but that wont help an electrical issue, only an on/off issue. Hope its not the turn signal in your case though. That part was a pain in the a$$ to find.

Actually it can cure a problem where only one light doesn't work. The wire whiskers on it are what makes the connections across the circuit. Causes things like no signal at one corner or only one brake light working.

No, there IS a repair part for the turn signal switch. Napa has them and so does O'Reilly.

It is the actual plastic cam piece with the 2 red wire stubs coming off it.

Borg Warner part# DR2

Napa/Ecklund part# DL6120

Yes it is. DrV said there is no repair part.

Thanks to all for the help! I hope this does the trick!

Check the connector at bottom of column. There known for bad conections and and all sorts of light problems. I replaced the connector on my GTX now all running signal and 4 ways work as there susposed to. It will even afect the dash lights for turn signals.
