For an 800 HP application that tranny will last just fine. I don't know the seller but that is a Tranzact VB and I had great luck with them.

The only issue I see is you need a billet front drum for absolute sure. A billet front planet and a hardened rear shaft would be a plus but you do not need it.

You commented on the bolt in sprag. That is not necessarily a good thing. A bolt in sprag is installed either because someone is told they need one or they spun the stock one and ruined the holding capability of the case when the old one spun.

True Leon but that is a 6 bolt 16 element unit which is an upgrade. That still doesn't say anything for the case condition but the sprag itself is a much better than stock unit.

sure it will hold up for 800 hp but for how long?
What i want in a tranny is billet, billet, billet so i dont have to worry about it comming apart.
I also want low maintenance.
The output shaft might be a little overkill becouse of a light chassie.

When i tore it apart the pumpcoverbolts where loose and also the front band, so im thinking it probably had good drum and cluthes and band but someone replaced it before it was sold.
Also it was full of water as if someone washed it while the front was out.
The water led to a stuck front servo and a hard to turn over rear bearing.
Sure noproblem to fix but the reason i bought this trans was to save some money and work.
Guess i didnt save any of it.
Its as they say cheap and good cant be used in the same sentence(sp)

The problem for you off shore guys is the shipping
cost so you would most likely be better off buying
new every time from a known company.... unless you
know the guy and can see good pics....... JMO
