Where can I find the VIN on 67 440 and a mid-late 70's 440? I looked on the passenger side all around the casting numbers and found nada. -BD

Do you mean the ID pad? its on top of the block behind the waterpump housing next to the drivers side cylinder head.

VIN's weren't stamped on '67s so you won't find one on it. On a 69 and later, you should find the VIN stamped on a pad on the passenger's side.

Seeking:

1969 St. Louis plant VINs, SPD, and VONs.
